PWCA is thrilled to bring the highly regarded Hillsdale College Classical Education curriculum to the Pittsburgh area. In its opening years, it is expected that PWCA’s start-up operating costs will exceed tuition receipts. During these initial years, the deficit is being covered by support from donors intent upon building a successful classical K-12 institution and bringing an entirely new degree of excellence to the Pittsburgh region.
Starting a new educational endeavor is a costly undertaking and we invite those of means to consider our Legacy Giving platform. This program asks donors to share in the burden as we build a self-sustaining educational asset which will profoundly shape the future of individuals, families, Pittsburgh, and indeed the nation at large. I WANT TO BRING HILLSDALE COLLEGE’S CLASSICAL EDUCATION TO PITTSBURGH
In addition to ensuring operating costs are met, PWCA leadership is committed to ensuring that all students, regardless of their family’s income, will have access to “A Classical Education Wrapped in Christ.” Needs-based tuition assistance will be funded through a combination of Pennsylvania’s Education Improvement Tax Credit program and discounts underwritten by philanthropic donors. We encourage all Pennsylvania tax payers, both individuals and businesses, to direct their tax liabilities to PWCA needs-based scholarships!
